It has been a long hiatus – a Bakers’ Dozen years – but finally it has come to an end. Having started with a wobling game – egypt does not deserve a draw from our team – finally team India came into full swing and ended up as winner of the finals. Agreed, the teams participating in ’Azlan Shah Cup’ tournament were not the top ones in the world. It still feels good to know that the team is on winning way.
Growing showcase of indian hockey team certainly is a good news and as a fan, i can only hope that it grows on forever.
